A Holocaust museum told through the Torah
From Worms, 1096, to the morning light of Yerushalayim
A dark room where a sofer writes by candlelight, the slow movement east to Poland, Ukraine and the Pale, the Baal Shem Tov, Karlin and Lubavitch, Vilna and Volozhin, Pressburg and Frankfurt, the last flowering, one restrained chamber for the Churban, the liberators, and the return.

Worms, the Altneuschul, Remuh, Gwoździec, the Gaon's Kloiz, Volozhin, Medzhybizh, Pressburg, Frankfurt, the Soviet minyan, Lubavitch and Karlin, each rebuilt from documented evidence, each with minyanim.
The shulsEvery visitor writes
A sofer writes each man's letter in a new Sefer Torah as his shaliach; each woman takes on a mitzvah. Every commitment enters the Registry, and every completed Torah is dedicated to a destroyed kehillah and read in a living shul.
